The Health Tech Challenge
We have partnered with NGOs HealthFlux (founded by Dr. Peter Ambe) and Reformation Community (RC) to design and implement a health tech challenge, culminating in a pitch competition on the day of the event.
In Ghana, patients arriving at emergency units often face delays in receiving critical medical care as doctors are unable to attend to them until payment is made for necessary medications and laboratory tests. This practice poses a significant barrier to timely intervention, particularly for patients with severe conditions requiring immediate treatment.
Develop a solution or innovative approach to ensure that patients in emergency situations receive prompt medical attention and necessary interventions, regardless of their ability to pay upfront for medications and lab tests, thereby improving healthcare access and outcomes.
